Made of burnout (devoré) velvet, the fabric is sheer 100% silk chiffon backing dyed olive, contrasting with a shimmering rayon velvet pattern of Gingko leaves.

A versatile poncho that slips over the head and can be worn also as a shawl or scarf. It has been hand painted with dyes using brushed washes of different shades of green, making each poncho one-of-a-kind.

 This fabric is washed as part of the burnout and dying and process and so is washable in a cold, gentle cycle after wear. Following with a hot drying cycle will add to its softness.
